The active ingredient in Termidor SC is Fipronil, a compound undetectable by termites. When the pests walk and forage through treated areas, they will ingest the product, pick it up on their bodies, and transfer it between other members of their colony.

Because of this fast and simple transfer effect, Termidor SC can achieve 100% control of termite populations in just 3 months – using a very low rate of just 0.006% active ingredient.

Termidor SC easily eliminates all types of termites, including subterranean, formosan, and drywood varieties, but it isn’t just for termite control. It’s also effective against other pests including ants, spiders, paper wasps, earwigs, millipedes, and cockroaches.

In addition, when used as an in-ground barrier treatment, Termidor SC will provide protection for over 10 years – making it extremely efficient and cost-effective.

 How to use Termidor SC

Termidor SC Termiticide/Insecticide comes in an easy-to-use formulation suitable for all low-pressure power, backpack, hand-held sprayers and foamers. The product has low water solubility, little-to-no odor, and won’t damage any water-safe surfaces.

Please follow the directions on the label carefully before using Termidor SC. This product is labeled for OUTDOOR USE ONLY with the exception of indoor spot treatment for termites inside wall voids. Termidor SC cannot be used on pets for any reason.

For termite control, mix 0.80 ounces of Termidor SC per gallon of water. Your 20 ounce bottle of Termidor SC will make 25 gallons of solution – which can be used to treat 60 lineal feet of trenching. For termite pre-treatment, use one gallon of finished solution per 10 square feet.

Termidor SC is an extremely high-powered product and a little goes a long way. Do not exceed the specified number of applications of Termidor SC per calendar year.
